Incoloy 825 Nylon Insert Nuts are manufactured from commercially pure wrought nickel which is ferromagnetic in nature. Incoloy 825 Coupler Nuts may be forged or hot worked providing temperature is maintained in the range of about 1800-2150°C. Alloy 825 Hex Nuts is stabilise annealed at 940°C.

The softest structure is obtained at 980°C. Alloy 825 Heavy Hex Nuts has good mechanical properties from moderately to high temperatures. The strength of Alloy 825 Lock Nuts nut comes from the stiffening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix. Alloy 825 Self-Locking Nuts is similar to alloy 800 but has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion.
